Accused ID thief, Christopher Kilgore, has been charged with two counts of Identity Theft 2.

FUGITIVE CAPTURED December 17, 2014 —
The suspect accused of creating a financial nightmare for a Lynnwood man by stealing his identity and opening numerous credit accounts has been arrested.

Lynnwood Det. Scott Dilworth says he was identified by tips to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound after surveillance video of the suspect aired on Q13 FOX News.

He will appear in Snohomish County court Thursday.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN LYNNWOOD December 15, 2014 —

“Our victim estimates losses somewhere around $25,000,” said Lynnwood Det. Scott Dilworth who is hoping someone knows the suspect’s name.

The victim who we are not naming for his safety says the thief even charged thousands of dollars at a jewelry store in Bellevue.

“You can imagine every day coming home and seeing bills on the table,” he said. He spends every night trying to convince collection agents he isn’t the culprit. “I know it’s taken him a lot of time to contact all of these different credit companies so definitely get this guy caught and help accountable for what he’s done,” said Det. Dilworth.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN KING COUNTY November 13, 2015 —
King County detectives need your help tracking down convicted felon, Bobby Joe Tramble, after deputies pulled him over for driving at night without his headlights on — and made a dangerous discovery inside his ride.

“He’s stopped on a traffic violation where an officer sees a gun under the seat,” says Jim Fuda with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “They hook him up, seize the vehicle, do a search warrant on it, find crack cocaine heroin and regular cocaine. His money was folded into $100 increments and that’s the way we police know that this guy’s trying to account for his money as he’s going around doing his drug business, but what he told the deputies is that he was a music producer. So now what we have is a drug dealer running around on the streets that is armed that we need to get off the street.”

NORMANDY PARK HOME BURGLARFUGITIVE WANTED IN NORMANDY PARK December 18, 2015 —
Normandy Park detectives say identifying a serial home burglar could lead to solving several more thefts around the area.

“We have a victim family, there house was actually burglarized twice within about a month and a half. The second time, the home owner had actually purchased a security system with a camera setup and we were able to get a picture of our suspect,” says Normandy Park Det. Jeremy Hedrick. “He took steps I think to try and cover up any evidence that may have been left at the scene, in doing so caused a tremendous amount of damage to the house. I was told by the homeowner that his insurance rates have now went up having two burglaries this quickly and so it`s effected his family`s life and livelihood quite a bit as well. We have had an extensive amount of burglaries in that area as well over the last, probably several months, and I believe he`s responsible for more than this one incident as well. There`s potential that he`s involved in burglaries In other cities as well and we`re trying to piece that together as well.”

Detectives think he’s white and in his 40’s.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATTLE December 11, 2015 --
Seattle Police are hoping you can identify the suspect who held up a 7-Eleven clerk at gunpoint.

Detectives say he came into the store on SW Holden St. in West Seattle on November 30th with two other guys, then loitered around until all the customers were gone, before whipping out a gun and robbing the place.

Cops found the other two guys but need your help with this one. Detectives say he goes by 'Fue' but that's not his real name and he is considered ‘armed and dangerous.

"The suspect that we're mostly concerned about is wearing a big puffy coat,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “You'll see him because he's the guy with the handgun, you'll see him walking with the gun, ordering the clerk to go around to the back of the till, takes him to the till and actually pushes him out of the way. At this point the clerk raises his hand and you'll see that on the video. Then, the suspect proceeds to help himself to some cigarettes, he takes all of the money out of the till and then walks nonchalantly out of view outside and all three suspects get into a stolen vehicle. The stolen vehicle has been recovered and two of the suspects are known. The guy we want to know is the guy with the gun. He's the most dangerous one in this case.”

Detectives think he is 6'1" to 6'2", about 220 pounds and known to frequent the White Center area of King County.

Again, he has a possible name of ‘Fue,’ but Seattle Police have no idea what his real name is or where to find him.

ICE CREAM ROBBERSCAPTURE UPDATE January 11, 2016 —
Corey Parker is being held on $1,000,000 bail after WMW tips to Crime Stoppers of the Inland Northwest identified him as the armed robbery suspect who held up a Baskin Robbins in Spokane.

Detectives say Parker ordered an ice cream cone — then turned crook — demanding money from the register and threatening the worker that he had a gun.

He is also charged with robbing  Einstein bagels.

He faces two counts of Robbery in the 2nd degree and 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The second suspect in the ice cream store heist has not been identified.

Parker is WMW Capture #715.

FUGITIVES WANTED IN SPOKANE COUNTY December 4, 2015 —
Spokane County detectives are hoping you can tell them the names of these two ice cream store robbers.

Surveillance video shows them trying to come off like customers at the start, walking into a Baskin-Robbins and going up to the counter, but the worker had to know something was up — especially with how the second suspect was wearing his hoodie and holding it together so the worker couldn’t see his face.

Detectives say the main suspect, whose face you can see really well, ordered an ice cream cone — then turned crook — demanding money from the register and threatening the worker that he had a gun. He grabbed the cash and both suspects took off on foot.

Detectives want you to take a really good look at the main suspect's mouth and how he talks, since they think he's missing teeth and that could be a good identifier for someone to recognize him.

The second suspect's hoodie is unique with the word ‘Quicksilver" written in white, Olde English lettering on the front and right shoulder.

Detectives think both suspects are white and in their 30's.

WMW viewers help lead to identity, arrest of home burglar who shows importance of security camera placement

FUGITIVE CAPTURED January 14, 2016 —
The home burglary suspect identified after we showed you surveillance video of him breaking into a house in Arlington is in custody.

Snohomish County detectives say Jimmy Mitchell was arrested on Thursday in Vancouver trying to flee the state. Officers pulled him over after getting a tip that he was driving erratically.

He was booked into the Clark County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Snohomish County.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN ARLINGTON January 7, 2016–
After getting out of a white Mazda 626, a man knocks on the front door of an Arlington home.

“He seemed nonchalant walking up to the door to see if I was home,” Deena Iverson said Thursday.

When no one answered, surveillance video captured the thief’s struggle to break in through the side door. That didn’t work, so he pried open the back door.

“He went straight into the bedroom here,” Iverson said.

A thief took off with a tote full of stolen goods belonging to Iverson’s family.

“It was strange that he did take my husband’s Social Security card from his tin box,” Iverson said.

The crook also stole her husband’s watch.

But what hurts the most is all the stolen family heirlooms.

“He had gotten my late husband’s wedding set that was for my kids as well,” Iverson said.

Those memories may be gone but Iverson’s investment on surveillance cameras are now paying off for cops trying to catch the heartless thief.

“The more cameras the better,” detective Glenn DeWitt with Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said.

It’s important to have surveillance cameras but where you place them is as important as having them.

DeWitt says the biggest mistake many people make is installing cameras too high up.

“If they put them too high, the problem is we are looking down at someone’s head,” DeWitt said.

The goal is to capture the face -- you also need cameras on the outside of every door, front and back.

And don’t forget the inside of your house and garage.

“It’s important to have a camera inside your houses as someone enters so you have a good shot of their face,” DeWitt said.

In Iverson's case, the thief is captured again rummaging through their garage, another angle that could help this case.

“I want him caught,” Iverson said.

FUGITIVES UPDATE December 11, 2015 —
Detectives say the same suspects — both confirmed to be males — have now hit three different stores since November 28th in Seattle, Burien and Tacoma.

Above are new photos detectives have released.

FUGITIVES WANTED IN SEATTLE December 4, 2015 —
Seattle Police are hoping you can help solve an armed takeover robbery at a pharmacy in Ballard last weekend that was terrifying for the employees inside the Walgreen’s store, when two suspects forced them into the back at gunpoint and stole codeine and Xanax.

It happened about 3am on Saturday morning.

There have been a whole slew of similar robberies all over Western Washington and detectives think these two suspects could be connected to a ring of thieves targeting pharmacies.

“Two suspects enter the store. They actually pull a weapon. One is carrying the weapon and walks around the store methodically collecting all the employees and then forcing them at gunpoint back into the pharmacy area. At that point the proceed to take some liquid narcotics and some pills and even hit both tills, taking a pretty good amount of money. The taller of the two suspects is described at about 6’4”. The second suspect sounded kind of effeminate, may even be a woman and as you look at these video clips just notice that they do have the stature of a woman, but we’re not sure. These two suspects may just be part of a group, we’re not positive, but in this specific case they knew exactly what they were doing.”

Detectives say the suspect with the gun is a light-skinned black man wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and sweat pants, black and white tennis shoes and a white cloth mask. He was armed with a small caliber semi-automatic pistol and he was tall.

Detectives think the second suspect is black, 5’6”, carrying a two -tone gray backpack and wearing a gray-colored hooded sweatshirt with a black wool jacket over it, black sweatpants, white colored shoes, gloves and a white cloth mask.

HOBBY LOBBYCAPTURE UPDATE:
King County Prosecutors have charged Ellis Herd with two counts of Assault in the Third Degree after Seattle Police say he hit two employees of the Hobby Lobby store on Aurora Ave. N. on December 3rd.

The attack was caught on video and Herd was identified thanks to Washington’s Most Wanted viewer tips to Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.

In court documents, Det. Dag Aakervik says one of the tips provided a telephone number for Ellis.  When he called him, Ellis told him he “knew he was featured on TV. He immediately admitted that he was the suspect involved at the Hobby Lobby. He admitted that he was attempting to shoplift at the store, but put the items back when confronted.”  Herd claimed one of the employees was harassing him and bumped into him so, “he turned and punched him in the face. He said when the female employee assaulted him he punched her in the head too.”

He was released from jail on December 28th and is currently awaiting trial. His next case hearing in court is on January 28th.

Herd is WMW Capture #720.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATTLE November 6, 2015 —
Seattle Police say the man in the brown vest and tan cap tried to steal about $245 worth of costume jewelry from the Hobby Lobby store on Aurora Ave. N.

After he was confronted, the suspect left the merchandise on a shelf and headed out the door — then turned violent when he heard the manager calling 911. “The suspect just turns around and decks him,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound.” You’ll see him go down and he looks like he’s totally knocked out. At this point the other clerk chases the suspect out the store. He turns around and decks her too. You see in the video where she’s falls inside the door, falls to the chair and falls to the ground. By this time, the first victim gets up, he`s dazed, he runs out the store and you won`t see it on video, but he`s confronted one more time and the suspect takes his head and slams him into a car door, so all of these things combined together mean this guy’s dangerous and we really want him.”

shanRIVERSFUGITIVE CAPTURED January 19, 2016 —
SeaTac Police say thanks to Crime Stoppers tips from WMW viewers, Des Moines Police arrested ID theft suspect, Shan Rivers, on Tuesday night.

Officers caught him as he walked to a bus stop at 272nd St. in Des Moines.

Rivers is WMW Capture #722RIVERS 2FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATAC January 14, 2016 —
Donna Snyder and her daughter, Debra, have a warning for other vulnerable adults after a convicted felon stole all their money.

Sea-Tac police say Shan Rivers claimed he was homeless, earned their trust and moved into their apartment before cleaning out their bank accounts.

“Don’t let him fool you cause he will rob you blind,” Debra said.

Donna is 75 years old and Debra is 54.  Both have health issues and rely on each other and the public assistance they get to survive.  Now, their bank accounts are in the red and next month’s rent will be due soon.

"He has fun at it I imagine, and laughs at our discomfort," Donna said.

Sea-Tac police say Rivers approached Debra in the parking lot of her complex pretending to be needy.

"As fragile as she is, she was willing to help him and he creates this illusion of being a good Samaritan," said Det. Robin Fry.

They agreed to let Rivers stay on their couch if he paid a little rent.

"He never helped financially at all. He helped himself financially with our money," the women said.

They learned he'd stolen their checks and bank cards when their rent check bounced.

"He was kind of an (SOB) taking advantage of us,"  said Debra.

Det. Fry says Rivers has numerous aliases and a history of theft by swindle. He's been charged in King County Superior Court with Identity Theft in the 2nd Degree and has a felony warrant for his arrest.  Police say even more concerning is that despite a Vulnerable Adult Protection Order, Rivers came back on Dec. 26 and pushed his way into their apartment demanding to get the cards before stealing a purse.

"He already took us. How much more you want to take?" Debra said.

Officers are patrolling the area in case he returns and worry there will be more victims.

FUGITIVE CAPTURED January 21, 2016 —
Mike Rocha and the Bail Enforcement Agency in Everett caught WMW fugitive John Post and booked him into the King County Jail on Thursday, after more than a year on the run.

Agents say since we featured him in 2014, he went to Arizona, then Mexico but returned to the states where they tracked him down.

He’s being held on $150,000 bail.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN SEATTLE December 5, 2014 —
The U.S Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force is on the hunt for accused woman abuser, John Post.

He’s wanted in Seattle for domestic violence assault where detectives say he beat and choked his girlfriend in their condo while her five year old son was in a bedroom. The attack was so violent and loud that a neighbor heard it all and called police. “They went up and knocked on the door,” says Ret. Det. Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. “No one came. Finally they announced ‘We’re the police and we’re going to come in regardless.’ The victim came to the door. They could immediately see that she’d been hit, she had a very swollen face and very explicit signs of strangulation.”

Post has bail recovery agents on the hunt for him too, after pulling a no-show at court after getting out of jail on a $100,000 bail.

They think he may have fled with his girlfriend.

LEAIRSENTENCING UPDATE January 25, 2016 —
Michael Leair pleaded guilty to six counts of residential burglary in Pierce County on Monday.

He was sentenced to 84 months in prison.

WMW viewer tips to Crime Stoppers led to his arrest last October after we aired video of him breaking into a couple’s home in East Tacoma on WMW.

It was one of numerous violent burglaries he committed.

CAPTURE UPDATE November 27, 2015:  A suspect accused of breaking into numerous homes all over Tacoma pleaded not guilty in Pierce County court and is being held on $500,000 bail.  Michael Leair was arrested on Nov. 27th after Washington’s Most Wanted viewers spotted him leaving a pawn shop in a vehicle and called in tips to Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County describing the make, model and license plate number.   Gang unit detectives later spotted the vehicle on Portland Ave. and took Leair into custody.

He has been charged with six counts of Residential Burglary in Pierce County and one in King County. “We’ve charged Michael Leair for burglarizing homes all over Tacoma. We are working hard with law enforcement to stop repeat burglars. He is part of the 10 percent who are causing 90 percent of the thefts,” said Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist.

Tacoma Police say Leair forced his way into houses between July 23rd and Sept. 22nd. “We do know that he is considered violent. In one of the burglaries, he was able to steal many guns,” said Officer Loretta Cool.  Detectives says Leair is the suspect seen on surveillance video breaking into a retired couple’s home in East Tacoma on September 19th.  They were vacationing in Oregon when their alarm company notified them of a break-in. Surveillance video showed Leair running from their house with a pillow case full of her jewelry.  “I had a pearl necklace and bracelet and earrings that my husband gave me when we got married and then a lot of sentimental things that I`ve received over the years from my children and things like that,” she said.

Leair is Washington’s Most Wanted Capture #697.

FUGITIVE UPDATE November 3, 2015 --
A serial burglary suspect accused of breaking into homes all over Tacoma is on the run and police are asking for the public’s help to find him.

A bench warrant was issued Tuesday for Michael Leair.

He has been charged with six counts of Residential Burglary.

Detectives say he forced his way into houses between July 23rd and Sept. 22nd.

"We do know that he is considered violent. In one of the burglaries, he was able to steal many guns," said Tacoma Police Officer Loretta Cool.

“We've charged Michael Leair for burglarizing homes all over Tacoma," adds Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist. "We are working hard with law enforcement to stop repeat burglars. He is part of the 10 percent who are causing 90 percent of the thefts. If the public can help police apprehend him, future victims will be spared.”

Detectives says Leair is the suspect seen on surveillance video breaking into Donna and Ed’s home in East Tacoma on September 19th. I am not sharing their last name or address for their safety. The couple was vacationing in Oregon when their alarm company notified them of a break-in. Surveillance video showed Leair running from their house with a pillow case full of Donna’s jewelry.  "I had a pearl necklace and bracelet and earrings that my husband gave me when we got married and then a lot of sentimental things that I`ve received over the years from my children and things like that," she said.

If you have any information that can help Tacoma Police find Leair, call Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) All calls are anonymous and there is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to his arrest.

LEAIR 2FUGITIVE WANTED IN TACOMA October 7, 2015 --
It’s a homeowner’s worst nightmare.

Ed and Donna were on a trip to the Oregon coast last month when the East Tacoma couple's alarm company called about a break-in.

Donna pulled up the video on her phone and the first thing she saw was the crook walking out of her front door with a pillow case full of her jewelry.

"I had a pearl necklace and bracelet and earrings that my husband gave me when we got married. And then a lot of sentimental things that I've received over the years from my children and things like that,” she said.

It’s not the first time thieves have broken in but it’s definitely the worst. Not only did he smash their back window and dig through their closet but he left a disgusting surprise behind on their porch. They say he defecated on their porch.

“For him to do something like that, it’s very degrading,” said Ed. Still the worst part for Donna was knowing he had been in her bedroom.

“When we got back, I still slept in our motor home,” she said.

They just want to feel safe so Donna is considering getting a gun and being trained to use it.

Ed is adding several more cameras to the seven they have already and he’s getting ready to install bars on the windows.

Tacoma Police Officer Loretta Cool says another option is to put a special laminate on the windows that prevents them from being broken from the outside.

"From the inside, you can actually break the glass to escape if you had a fire in the home. Obviously, it looks much better than bars on the windows and it's safe for you to get out in case you had a medical emergency and had to get out of the house through a window,” she said.

Until the suspect is caught, Ed and Donna are on extra alert.

"It'd be nice to see him go to jail. I would love to go to court and testify against him,” she said.

If you have any information that can help Tacoma Police find the burglar, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) All calls are anonymous and there is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to his arrest.
