DENAFUGITIVE CAPTURED January 20, 2014 –
Puyallup police arrested Dena Howe on Tuesday.

She was in a car that was pulled over with expired license tabs.

Officers say she’s changed her appearance since being featured on WMW last year, and has short dark hair now.

She pleaded not guilty to several charges in court including 3 theft charges, 4 identity theft charges, 2 forgery charges, and a drug charge.

Her bail was set at a total of $300,000

Dena Howe

FUGITIVE WANTED IN LAKEWOOD and EDGEWOOD October 31, 2014 –
Dena Howe is wanted in Lakewood for a slew of identity theft crimes and drugs.

She’s also wanted in Edgewood where detectives say she used a woman’s identity to charge over $4,500 with fraudulent credit cards.

Police say she has an extensive history of causing chaos with victim’s identities.

Detectives say she likely has several fake driver’s licenses with her photo on them now, and they’re all near-perfect forgeries.

“We get our mail at our houses. We get credit card offers, things like that,” says Lakewood Lt. Chris Lawler. “What she’s doing is going around and grabbing pieces of mail out of the mailbox. She’ll take that name that’s on that credit card offer, then create a fake ID, go get the credit card and now start running up bills that affects your credit. Or, she’ll print checks in your name and when that happens to the average citizen it is a real pain to have to try and clear your name and sort all that out. It can ruin your credit. It’s devastating. I’ve watched people actually come in with complaints of doing this and they’re in tears.”

Investigators think she could be hiding in Lacey, Puyallup, or Federal Way.

If you know where Dena Howe is, call an anonymous tip into:

suspect1FUGITIVE CAPTURED January 21, 2015 –
The King County Sheriff’s Office says the auto theft suspect has been identified and arrested, after Q13 FOX News viewers called in tips to Crime Stoppers.

Detectives say the suspect is expected to be charged with kidnapping and theft.

FUGITIVE WANTED IN KING COUNTY January 20, 2015 –
King County sheriff’s detectives have released new video of the man near Covington who stole a truck and trailer with a 2-year-old sleeping inside. They are hoping someone recognizes him.

Hailey Cole was on her gated private property hooking up the trailer when the thief jumped in her truck. Her son, Tyson, was sleeping in a car seat.

“I have an 8-foot bed so I was 9 feet away,” said Hailey.

She is filled with a mother’s righteous anger that someone put her little boy in danger.

“I just kept screaming, ‘You have my baby, you have my baby!'”

The trailer almost hit her as the crook sped off through the gate.

“I don’t care if he didn’t know that my son was in there. I don’t hold forgiveness at this point,” said Hailey.

She rushed inside and called 911.

Deputies found the truck abandoned in a yard about three and a half miles away.

Tyson was all alone and still asleep.

“You find out you have a kid in the back, you don’t just leave him there,” said Hailey.

Investigators say the crook ran to a little strip mall outside Covington, where he was caught on surveillance video trying to talk people into giving him a ride out of the area.

While Tyson is doing fine, Hailey still worries about what might have happened.

“He could have been with me hooking up the truck. He would have been right here and he could have been ran over by my own trailer because someone took it,” she said.

If you can tell King County detectives his name, call an anonymous tip into:

Andrew Hoffman (left) and Tony Rem (right)

CAPTURE UPDATE January 17, 2015 —
Andrew Hoffman was booked into the Pierce County Jail after deputies say he shot a man at a house party.

Hoffman was arrested by Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies for shooting another man in the shoulder during a house party in Puyallup’s South Hill neighborhood.

Detectives say on the night of the shooting a loud party was taking place at Hoffman’s girlfriend’s neighbor’s house. The neighbors talked with Hoffman and his girlfriend about the noise and they decided to join the party.  At some point Hoffman’s girlfriend believed that she was touched inappropriately by another male at the party. Witnesses say Hoffman began arguing with several males, than displayed a handgun and shot one of the men in the shoulder inside the house.  Witnesses heard 2-4 additional shots outside the house as the suspect struggled with other party-goers.

Detectives say Hoffman ran from the party and was captured by deputies following a short foot pursuit.  Hoffman admitted to being in possession of a firearm and told deputies he threw it as he ran away. The handgun was located by deputies in a nearby yard.  As the victim and witnesses were questioned, deputies say Hoffman kicked out a window to a patrol car.

CAPTURE UPDATE December 24, 2015 —
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office says Tony Rem was arrested in Las Vegas after a standoff on Christmas Eve.

The Las Vegas Sun says Rem barricaded himself at a motel next to the airport, was armed, and held a woman hostage.

He let the woman go about an hour later and surrendered a few hours after that.

Police found numerous weapons inside the motel room, including an assault rifle.

FUGITIVE CAPTURED January 27, 2015 –
Tacoma police arrested Mikael Williams on Tuesday night.

FUGITIVE WANTED BY WSP MISSING and EXPLOITED CHILDREN’S TASK FORCE –
Detectives from the Washington State Patrol Missing and Exploited Children’s Task Force are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a man wanted for human trafficking.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year old Mikael Z. Williams, who detectives believe assisted his older brother and another man in trafficking underage girls for sex. Detectives say the three operated primarily in Pierce, King, Thurston, and Snohomish counties.

The investigation began after a mother seeking the whereabouts of her runaway 15 year-old daughter located an ad on Backpage.com advertising her daughter for sex.  The mother in turn contacted law enforcement.

Detectives say the investigation revealed that Curtis Escalonte, 23, and Michael Williams, 22, were engaged in trafficking underage girls for commercial sex using Tacoma area hotel rooms and advertised the girls on Backpage.com throughout early December. Both are in the Pierce County Jail charged with numerous sex-related offenses with bail set at $2 million.

The wanted man, Mikael Williams, is the younger brother of Michael Williams.

Detectives say they learned that Mikael Williams was aware of the sex trafficking, including renting some of the hotel rooms used, and expected to be paid for his part in the “business”.

The felony warrant for Mikael Williams is for Promoting Commercial Sex Abuse of a Minor.

Teen who stole tablet from woman in wheelchair sentenced to 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 years

SEATTLE — A Juvenile Court judge on Friday sentenced a 17-year-old boy who stole a computer tablet last year from a wheelchair-bound woman at Northgate Mall to 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 years.

The teenager pleaded guilty to theft and illegal possession of a firearm and other crimes. The 17-year-old apologized to the victim, Carolyn, but she said later that she did not believe the apology was sincere. She said she would pray for him.

The teenager said he gave the “Nook” tablet to another thief with him that day at the mall and hasn’t seen him since.

Prosecutors did not charge the 17-year-old as an adult because they say the case would just be kicked back to juvenile court by the judge.

Seattle Robbery detectives say the teen was identified by Q13 FOX News and Washington’s Most Wanted viewers.

The victim, Carolyn, believes she was targeted because she couldn’t fight back.

“I don’t think it was all about my disability but I think that was a factor,” she said. “They obviously are in their own world and don’t have any compassion for anyone.”

She is grateful for the huge outpouring of support from the community.

“I was really excited and happy and glad that people would stand up for me,” she said.

Her husband bought her a new tablet but she says she appreciates the offers from everyone to get her a new one.

The second suspect has still not been identified.

If you know his name, Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000. Call 1-800-222-TIPS.

Bremerton police are looking for Brent Weir, left, and Daniel Lang. They have $100,000 warrants for their arrest. They are suspected of a carjacking and a series of armed robberies.

Brent ‘Looney’ Weir (left) arrested on Saturday. Daniel ‘Russian Dan’ Lang (right) still wanted

UPDATE February 7, 2015 —
Bremerton police say Brent “Looney” Weir was arrested Saturday night in Port Orchard following a K9 track.

Daniel “Russian Dan” Lang is still on the run.

FUGITIVES WANTED February 4, 2015 —
A Bremerton woman couldn’t believe what was happening when three men pulled a gun on her boyfriend and stole their car outside their apartment on Jan. 23.

“It was on Friday morning, around 6. My boyfriend goes out to start his car like he always does. He starts his, then starts mine,” said Nichole Diaz-Lopez.

She says two of the men knocked on his window with a gun and said, “Get out of the car!”

Her boyfriend came into their apartment and that’s when she went out and tried to stop the carjackers.

“The one guy who had the gun, he was in the driver’s seat, couldn’t put it in reverse because you had to lift a nozzle. So he gets out and runs behind the car, gets in the passenger seat. The guy that was in the passenger seat jumps over the metal console. I’m trying to rip him out, not even thinking of the gun, and they got away.”

Nichole called 911. A State Patrol trooper spotted the car and gave chase. One suspect jumped and took off running but was caught.

The other two — identified by Bremerton police as Daniel Lang, aka “Russian Dan”, and Brent Weir, aka “Looney” — are still on the loose and have $100,000 warrants for their arrest.

“These are very dangerous individuals, both convicted felons, both very violent, dangerous individuals. And they`ll do anything they have to avoid law enforcement,” said Bremerton police Sgt. Kevin Crane.

He says they have connected the two suspect to a series of armed robberies.

“We need to get these guys off the street as soon as possible.  Every minute these guys are on the street, people are in danger,” said Crane.

Nichole knows things could have ended badly so they are being extra cautious.

“It definitely opened my eyes and makes me more aware of my surroundings,” she said.

If you know where Bremerton police can find Daniel Lang or Brent Weir, call 911 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-tips. There is a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest, but you must call Crime Stoppers to be eligible for the cash.

sabalaCAPTURE UPDATE:
Tino Sabala was arrested by Lakewood police and booked into the Pierce County Jail on Sunday, February 8th.

Lakewood police say Sabala was arrested after a road rage incident and short vehicle pursuit.

WANTED IN TACOMA January 16th –
Tacoma police need your help finding six-time felon, tino sabala, who shamefully abused an 84-year-old man.

He pleaded guilty to holding the elderly man hostage as he drove him around Tacoma — first to a Money Tree to take out more than $2,000, then to Nordstrom where Sabala made the man buy more than a $1,000 worth of shoes.

The scam started when Sabala bullied the victim, claiming he hit his car and needed to pay.

“This is a man who’s fairly large in size compared to the victim who was 84 years old who he approached,” says Tacoma Police Ofc. Loretta Cool. “In his approach and the way he confronted him, he was using intimidation and his physical size to compel an 84-year-old man to give him money. Not only did he compel the man to give him money for an accident that didn’t really happen, he put the threat of this gentlemen losing his license into the victim’s mind. I don’t know that there’s anything more shameful than a grown man taking advantage of somebody who can’t protect themselves. I’d certainly love to see this person captured. I’d love to see him actually serve out the sentence that he plead guilty to.”

Sabala’s criminal history is 45-pages.

He’s 6’0” tall and weighs 240 pounds.

Jail records show at least 14 fake names he uses.

He’s inked with the names “Molly” and “Donna” on the right side of his neck.

Sabala is facing several years in prison once he’s caught — so please — help get him behind bars before he’s preying on your elderly loved ones.

WANTED BY DOC IN KING COUNTY December 5, 2014  –
A sex offender who kidnapped and raped a disabled man is on the run.

Officers say missing rapist, Jason Sumey, also lies about being a secret agent as part of his scheme to target women on the internet who have young children.

If you ever needed an example of a dangerous internet predator — officers say, you’re looking at him. “Sumey has a lengthy history of befriending women he meets online,” says DOC Ofc. Emily Isaacs. “He particularly seems to go for women who have young children. He tells them he’s a secret agent. He uses fake first names like ‘Trey’ and ‘Brian”. It could be months before they find out his real name, if he ever tells them his real name. He’s been known to provide false information to police officers when he’s arrested. You never know what version of him you’re going to get. So, please pay attention and help us find him as soon as possible.”

Here are the details on JASON SUMEY:

  • Age: 36
  • Fake first names: “Trey”, “Brian”
  • Fake last name: “Zumek”, ‘Rumek”, “Davidson”, and “Koufax”
  • Ht: 5’10”
  • Wt: 180 lbs
  • Hair: Red
